Milan will be facing the Dutch side in two games to determine who faces Inter or Arsenal in the Round of 16.
After losing 2-1 to Dinamo Zagreb in a shambolic performance, Milan finished the League Phase of the Champions League in 13th place; a win would have seen them finish in the Top 8 which is an automatic entry into the Round of 16.
Today in Nyon the draw for the playoff stage took place and the Diavolo learned that they would be facing Feyenoord, who finished the League Phase in 20th place. It was between Feyenoord and Juventus, and the draw showed De club aan de Maas.
This will be the second meeting between the two sides in European Competitions, with the only previous meeting coming in the Round of 16 of the European Cup in the 1969/70 season.
The first-leg will be played in the Netherlands on February 11th or 12th, while the return leg will be played at San Siro on February 18th or 19th. The winner of the round will face either Arsenal or Inter in two games.

Franco Baresi represented Milan in the draw and this is what he had to say to Sky Italia: “We avoided Juventus and got Feyenoord? Yes, it’s better this way, it’s better to avoid an Italian clash. However, we throw ourselves back into the Champions League with great respect also towards Feyenoord, because we know that in these competitions you should never underestimate anyone”.
Milan and Feyenoord, interestingly enough, have been in direct talks over the past few days over striker Santiago Giménez, who can join Milan and find himself facing his current club very soon.
