After several weeks of competition, the Mexican national team accomplished its mission and won the Gold Cup title, defeating the United States 2-1 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
The Rojiblanco was obviously involved in the final, as Roberto Alvarado started and played 87 minutes, during which he performed very well and contributed greatly to El Tri's attack. His statistics were very impressive, so here they are:
- 87 minutes played- 2 shots on goal- 1 successful dribble- 48 successful passes (84%)- 1 key pass- 4 successful long passes
Meanwhile, 'Tala' Rangel and Efraín Álvarez did not feature against the United States. This is how our three Rojiblancos from the national team were crowned champions of the CONCACAF tournament.
The Rebaño Sagrado players will report to Gabriel Milito's team in the coming days to get ready in every way for the start of the 2025 Apertura.
