KINGSTON, Jamaica – The 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup began with a pair of matches on Tuesday, as Mount Pleasant FA earned a 1-nil victory over SV Robinhood in Group A at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

The Jamaican side was reduced to ten men in the 10’ when Warner Brown was shown a red card.

Sue-Lae McCalla the match’s lone goal in the 35’, smashing a header off Gadail Irving’s corner kick delivery.

Tafari Chambers posted two saves to collect his first clean sheet in the 2025 edition.

SV Robinhood will return to Caribbean Cup action when it hosts Central FC next Tuesday. Mount Pleasant will continue its campaign by visiting Moca FC next Wednesday.
