Matic calls Onana one of the 'worst goalkeepers in Man United's history' | OneFootball

Nemanja Matic did not hold back in response to a question about comments from Manchester United goalkeeper André Onana.

The former Red Devils midfielder is in his second season in France and will face his former side this Thursday in the Europa League.

A journalist had asked the veteran for his thoughts that the current United goalkeeper had said that on paper his team was 'way better' than Olympique Lyonnais.

"I respect everyone but to say that then you need to give the answer," Matic said in response.

"If you are one of the worst goalkeepers in Man United history – you need to take care what [you are saying]."

"If David de Gea, Peter Schmeichel, or [Edwin] Van Der Sar said that then I would question myself but if you are one of the statistically worst goalkeepers in Man United modern history then, you know, he needs to show that before he says. We will see."

Matic comments could add some spice to the quarter-final that will be played at the Groupama Stadium on Thursday.
