Celtic goalkeeping target Martin Dubravka is reportedly keen on making the switch to the Scottish Champions, according to a report. The 35-year-old is currently on international duty with Slovakia, keeping a clean sheet in the 1-0 win over Belgium.

As reported by Football Insider, Dubrvaka would be up for the move to replace John Hart if Celtic make a formal offer.

The report says that Dubravka is keen on the prospect of swapping England’s North East for Glasgow’s East End. With his display at the Euros today, his agent will likely be enjoying the interest from around Europe with Saudi and American teams also increasingly active in the transfer market.

Newcastle are willing to move the 35-year-old on as they look to sign James Trafford to compete with Nick Pope for the No.1 jersey. Dubravka made 30 appearances last season but it was clear this summer that Eddie Howe was targeting a second goalkeeper with Dubravka able to move on given that he has one year remaining in his deal.

Celtic will likely have a list of potential candidates to replace Joe Hart. However, Dubravka would probably satisfy the remit of being available but would not be a long term solution given his age.
