Manchester United ready to listen to offers for Rasmus Højlund | OneFootball

ESPN report that Manchester United are open to offers to sell Rasmus Højlund.

Højlund (22) – who has three years remaining on his current deal with an option for a further year – struggled last season with just five goal contributions (four goals, one assist) in 2,014 minutes across 32 Premier League appearances and as United go in search for a new No. 9, the Dane is a candidate to leave.

One of Manchester United’s targets to lead their attack next season is RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko. The Slovenian was left out of the Bundesliga club’s friendly on Saturday after Newcastle United had submitted an opening offer of €80m including bonuses. Sesko has already made it known to teammates that he wants to leave this summer with both Manchester United and Newcastle vying for his transfer.

There’s also been reports suggesting that Højlund could be used as a makeweight in a deal for Sesko but so far the INEOS backed club haven’t submitted an offer for the 22-year-old. BBC also note that Højlund would be available for around £30m.
