Bild reports that Manchester United are keen on bringing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha to the club in the summer.

It is well known that if fails to qualify for the Champions League this season, then Dortmund will need to sell some key players. Gregor Kobel, Jamie Gittens and Karim Adeyemi are the most lucrative candidates that could be sold.

However, United are interested in trying their luck in signing Nmecha. The Premier League side would keen in making an offer worth around €48m, but, Dortmund sees the 24-year-old as a key piece of their future, so are reluctant to sell him.

The downside for Dortmund is that if they continue their season slump, there is a possibility that Nmecha could push for a move in the summer. Nmecha was previously in the academy of Manchester City, before moving to Wolfsburg.

The 24-year-old is still recovering from a ligament injury and could make his return for Dortmund against Freiburg, ahead of Dortmund’s crucial Champions League quarter-final tie against Barcelona.
