Paris Saint-Germain are putting an emphasis on pushing for young French talent. Over the past couple of transfer windows they have secured Bradley Barcola and Désiré Doué, so this trend will continue.
Over the years one of the arguments made toward PSG is their inability to scoop up young French talent. Nonetheless, that has changed, but still there are times in which the Parisians will still whiff on players from France.
The Parisians were in the mix for a Le Havre standout, but rather than take the same path as Barcola and Doué, Enzo Kana-Biyik opted to head abroad and sign with a Premier League club.

Christopher Michel of Fussball.News reported Thursday that Kana-Biyik has signed a long-term deal with Manchester United, choosing them over interest from Chelsea, Monaco, and PSG.
PSG pushed hard for him—especially since both of his brothers are in their academy—but he ultimately said yes to the Red Devils. Kana-Biyik is the latest talent that the Parisians lose out on to a Premier League side.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported this week that Manchester City have reached a verbal agreement to sign Mahamadou Sangaré on a free transfer from PSG’s youth academy.
