In a recent report, journalist Mark Brus mentioned that Manchester United are on the brink of recruiting Royal Antwerp keeper Senne Lammens this summer. It has been claimed that the Red Devils are close to signing the Belgian goalie in this transfer period.
Lammens had a solid campaign at the Belgian club after he put in a series of impressive displays for them in the Jupiler Pro League. The 23-year-old conceded 56 goals and earned ten clean sheets in 44 appearances for Royal Antwerp last season on all fronts.
The Belgian talent is currently among the best keepers back in his homeland. Thus, it is no surprise that Man United are trying to get a deal done for him this summer.
His current contract at the Belgian club will run out in the summer of 2027, which could make it tough for the Red Devils to land him on the cheap in this transfer window.

Lammens can be a solid presence in between the sticks when he is playing with confidence on the field. He is a good handler of the ball and can use his quick reflexes to make a few important saves at the back for his team.
Standing at 1.93m, the Belgian talent is a towering presence inside his penalty area. However, only time will tell whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if the Red Devils manage to get a deal done for him in this summer transfer period.
Lammens would undoubtedly enhance the quality of Man United head coach Ruben Amorim’s first XI. He would be an upgrade over Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir at the Mancunian club. Plus, the Belgian sensation could help the Red Devils challenge across all competitions in the coming seasons.
At 23, Lammens has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a decent option for the Red Devils to pursue before the end of this transfer window. All in all, Amorim should focus on going all out to lure him to the Theatre of Dreams this summer.
