Puma and Manchester City will reportedly release a ‘predominantly white’ alternative kit for the 2025/26 season, according to new leaks.

The same outlet had revealed earlier this week that designers at Puma would be implementing a sash design onto the front of the 2025/26 home shirt, with the rest of the kit being predominantly sky blue.

That follows an edition featuring this season which saw the club pay homage to the local area by utilising the iconic ‘0161’ area code in a graffiti design used on the shirt’s trim, alongside the traditional sky blue.

Whilst the ongoing season is only several months old, the leaks regarding future kits to be worn by the Manchester City squads at the Etihad Stadium continue to drop, and this time attentions are turned to the alternative designs.

That will follow a number of bold editions to have been produced by Puma over the years, with the latest round of alternative kits being hugely popular amongst the fanbase through connections to club history and famous supporters.

Now, according to leaked information from Footy Headlines, an alternative kit released by Manchester City and Puma for the 2025/26 season will be ‘predominantly white’, despite no information emerging on accent colours or which kit specifically will take on this design.

Readers are reminded that the last time Manchester City used white for its away or third kit was in the 2021/22 season, whilst the 2023/24 away kit was understood to be formally an off-white colour.

Manchester City’s current away kit is a reference to the club’s hugely memorably and iconic 1999 play-off final shirt worn during the victory over Gillingham at Wembley Stadium, launched alongside Paul Dickov – scorer of a last-minute equaliser that afternoon.

The third kit then utilises maroon and gold as the shirt combines historically popular Manchester City colour pallets to produce a shirt that has striking similarities to previously top-selling editions.

And finally, when it comes to the club’s first-ever fourth kit, Manchester City worked alongside Oasis legend Noel Gallagher to produce a shirt and wider kit range that recognised the 30-year anniversary of the launch of the ‘Definitely Maybe’ album.
