Furthermore, Gaughan reports that it may cost City more than £55 million to sign Reijnders. Gaughan’s report implies that City are hopeful of signing Tijjani Reijnders before they jet off for the FIFA Club World Cup in under three weeks.

Based on today’s news reports, it seems that Manchester City’s bid to sign Tijjani Reijnders is progressing. The Dutch international would be a quality addition to Pep Guardiola’s squad. He’d immediately fill one hole in the Manchester City squad, and the sooner City can bring him in, the better.
