Manchester United will face Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup quarter-finals today.

Goalkeeper Altay Bayindir has started in the previous two League Cup games and could feature for the first time under the new manager at Spurs.

The ‘experienced‘ goalkeeper will hope to produce a positive display to impress Amorim if he is selected.

He was a virtual spectator as United ran riot in the 7-0 victory over Barnsley in the third round and featured again in the 5-2 win against Leicester City in round four.

He made five saves but could have done better for the Foxes’s first goal.

While first-choice Andre Onana has made a few errors in the last couple of weeks, he has shown massive improvement this season.

He has made sublime saves on multiple occasions and won points for the Red Devils.

Even if Bayindir gets the opportunity today, Onana is expected to start against Bournemouth on Sunday.
