Manchester United fan Leah Smith and her children got a training ground tour after they found Alejandro Garnacho’s missing dogs.
The Argentine has once again been a regular fixture in the team as he has already played 38 matches this season, scoring eight goals and providing six assists.
Garnacho has received a lot of criticism recently though as he has passed up numerous opportunities in front of goal and has not scored in the Premier League since the 10th of November against Leicester City.
This has resulted in him being linked with a move away to clubs such as Chelsea, SSC Napoli and most recently, Atletico Madrid.
It hasn’t all been bad news for the 20 year old though as his two pets were recently found by a supporter of the club.
The Sun report that “a Mum got a tour of Manchester United’s training ground for finding Alejandro Garnacho’s dogs.”
“United supporter Leah Smith, 26, and her children also got matchday tickets from the grateful Argentina international.”
She was driving with her daughter when they saw the animals on the loose near the star’s house.
Leah recognised the dogs from the player’s social media posts and took them to Carrington, where it was later confirmed that they did indeed belong to the United star.
Speaking on the incident Leah said, “once they confirmed the dogs belonged to Garna, they politely asked if I could take them back to his home, which I did. His partner, Eva, was waiting and was very grateful.”
Garnacho and his partner phoned her the next day and gave her and her kids matchday tickets to see United beat Southampton at Old Trafford last month.
The Mum said “my children will never forget this day. Thank you Garna & Eva.”
