Neither Wilfried Zaha nor Rayan Cherki will be involved in Olympique Lyonnais’ clash against RC Lens on Sunday evening.

Zaha arrived at Lyon late in the transfer window, however, he has yet to build his fitness to a sufficient level to allow him to be included in a matchday squad. He will therefore have to wait to make his debut for his new club. Cherki is another big name not included in Pierre Sage’s squad. His situation is a little more complex. The France youth international’s contract expires at the end of the season and there is a reticence to utilise him until an extension has been signed.

Gift Orban, heavily linked with a departure, is expected to start alongside Alexandre Lacazette up front, with Georges Mikautadze only earning a place on the bench.
