La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Tuesday been afforded a timely boost on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that David Alaba has linked back up with the rest of the club’s squad, to play his part in group training in Spain’s capital.
Alaba, for his part, has of course not been seen in the colours of Real Madrid since late last year.
This comes after the versatile stopper suffered an ACL tear, during a La Liga meeting with Villarreal.
Recent weeks have seen Alaba take sizeable steps forward in his recovery, the latest of which, as alluded to above, came on Tuesday morning.
As confirmed by a host of sources online, the 32-year-old today trained with the ball in competitive group drills for the first time this year.
Alaba was later pulled to the side to continue his session with individualised drills, but now appears to be one step closer to taking his place back on the pitch.
