If we trust experts, a Leicester City journalist and Foxes Under-21s boss Leon McSweeney, City have a potentially exceptional and high calibre group of players coming through. Ahead of our coming assessment on every up-and-coming Fox, we look at a quartet of starlets. In general, it is said that Henry Cartwright, Jayden Joseph, Jake Evans and Jeremy Monga are possibly next generation of the King Power club.

So, what do we know about the four youngsters? Should the Blue Army be anticipating more LCFC Academy products such as Harvey Barnes, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall or Ben Chilwell? Does latest Leicester manager Ruud van Nistelrooy favour youthful footballers? And will any of them make their senior debuts this season under the Dutchman?

Leicester City transfer talk

First of all, City are linked with inconsistent but dedicated Newcastle United winger Miguel Almiron. Magpies boss Eddie Howe is reluctant to relinquish the Paraguayan. Yet Almiron feels like the type of player the Foxes ultimately sign.

Juma Bah is another apparently on Leicester's list. Chatter about the Sierra Leonean defender is at a minimum; he'd likely be developed before breaking through to the first team. LCFC are tracking former Fox Dewsbury-Hall as well; Arsenal lead that chase, claims state.

Van Nistelrooy wants to bring young prospects through the ranks. That we know! The inclusion of substitute Henry Cartwright (20) at Newcastle instead of Odsonne Edouard is telling. Teenager Will Alves is, naturally, another to watch out for. The more well-known midfielder has already made his senior debut.

Jeremy Monga (15) is certainly highly rated. Jayden Joseph (18) too went along for the experience at NUFC, noticeably. While Jake Evans (16) has been spoken of similarly to Monga. I imagine we will see one or two of them be handed a few minutes sometime during the campaign.
