Liverpool‘s out-of-favour attacker Federico Chiesa is being considered ‘a real option’ by Serie A giants Napoli, as they are evaluating the Italian internally.

The Premier League champions are making big changes in their squad as they aim to improve next season.

Manchester City have been very active so far in the summer transfer window, and the Reds will need to do their bit to retain the Premier League title.

Jeremie Frimpong has already been signed, and another Bayer Leverkusen superstar, Florian Wirtz, is also zeroing in on a move to Anfield.

When he joins Liverpool, it will mean fewer chances for Chiesa, who joined last summer and has found it very difficult to find game time.

The Italian has not been able to get rid of his niggling injury issues, and is prepared to leave the club for regular game time this summer.

Italian clubs have been looking to get their hands on the former Juventus star, and Napoli and AC Milan have been linked most recently with him.

And now, according to Italian journalist Daniele Longo, Gli Azzurri are considering Chiesa as ‘a real option’ this summer.

It has been suggested that the Italian champions are trying to explore a deal to bring him in as they continue to evaluate him internally.

Napoli have Champions League football on the agenda for next season and want to strengthen.

The former Italian international wants to leave the Reds this summer, and is open to making a move to Antonio Conte’s Napoli.

Now, all eyes will be on Napoli to see if they will approach Liverpool with an offer in the upcoming weeks and months.
