Liverpool schedule transfer meeting with Valencia | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Valencia have been summoned for a fresh round of transfer talks with their counterparts at Premier League giants Liverpool.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards as much as coming in relation to a potential deal for Giorgi Mamardashvili.

The name of goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili has of course made its way firmly back into the media headlines over the course of the last couple of days.

This comes after word was forthcoming that the aforementioned Liverpool had identified the Georgian standout as a leading transfer target.

Looking ahead to the future, beyond the days of Alisson, the brass at Anfield are understood to view Mamardashvili as the ideal profile to take his place between the posts.

As per a report from Fabrizio Romano, a new round of discussions between the clubs has therefore been pencilled in.

Interestingly, it is noted that the shot-stopper himself would be keen on the prospect of joining Liverpool, before being farmed out on loan.
