Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid feels uncertain after an up-and-down showing at the FIFA Club World Cup. With the transfer window now open, talk of a possible move is starting to gain traction.
PSG’s stance remains a bit unclear. Josué Cassé of Foot Mercato reported that the Brazilian forward isn’t currently on the club’s radar, which conflicts with Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg. He also ruled out Tottenham Hotspur as a destination but noted that Liverpool and PSG are monitoring Rodrygo closely.
The capital club are still believed to be very interested as they continue their search for a top young winger. Any move, though, will likely depend on how the transfer market plays out in the coming weeks.

On Wednesday, during an “Ask Me Anything” session for TEAMtalk, journalist Rudy Galetti provided an update on the future of Rodrygo amid the transfer rumors heading into the final weeks of the summer window.
“Speaking about Rodrygo, Liverpool admire him and are among the clubs keeping a close eye, but the financial demands and the strong competition make it a very challenging deal,” Galetti wrote. “For this reason, the club is also exploring alternative winger options that are more accessible both in terms of price and negotiations. Anyway, his future is still very much open.”
Walid Acherchour from After Foot RMC shared his thoughts on PSG’s transfer window, questioning how many players could look to leave in search of bigger roles. He also believes sporting advisor Luis Campos might be targeting a star from Real Madrid.
“Will Gonçalo Ramos stay and be satisfied with that playing time?” Acherchour said. “There’s Kolo Muani, and Asensio will probably leave. Kang-In Lee, between his behavior and the second half of the season, has been like a ghost player.
“At the end of the transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain will have to make a move for a forward — a player who can play across the front three positions. A late transfer solution like Rodrygo or Akliouche… I know Luis Campos really likes Rodrygo, and there could be a market opportunity at the end of the window.”
