In a recent report, journalist Pete O’Rourke mentioned that Liverpool are in talks with the representatives of Real Madrid winger Rodrygo. It has been claimed that the Reds are in discussions over a potential move for the Brazilian attacker, but are facing competition from Manchester City in pursuit of him this summer.

Rodrygo’s Impressive Form In Spanish Football

His current contract at the Madrid club will run out in the summer of 2028. Hence, the Reds would have to make a convincing offer if they are serious about recruiting Rodrygo in this transfer window.

Should Liverpool Boss Arne Slot Snap Rodrygo Up This Summer?

Rodrygo is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and has got the vision to engineer a few inviting chances for his teammates to score. He can shoot the ball with power from long range and can contribute by scoring and creating a lot of important goals for his team.

However, only time will tell whether the Brazilian sensation can maintain his good form in the Premier League if Liverpool manage to bring him on board this summer. Rodrygo is primarily a right-sided wide player but can also play as a centre-forward or as a left-winger if required. We can expect him to bring more firepower to Arne Slot’s attack.
