13:50 – Various reports now say a fee is agreed to take Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Chelsea. COPE claim the Blues will pay Barcelona €12m as well as including Marcos Alonso in the deal.

13:49 – The Telegraph say Aston Villa have rejected Arsenal’s £20m offer for Douglas Luiz but that won’t be the end of that one, there’s a long way to go today.

13:43 – As well as being linked with Tiémoué Bakayoko, OGC Nice are showing interest in Ross Barkley too, report the Evening Standard.

13:23 – Another fee agreed; the Daily Mail say Leeds will pay Marseille £10m for Bamba Dieng.

13:21 – Tahith Chong is expected to make a permanent switch to Birmingham, with the Athletic and BBC saying a fee has now been agreed.

13:18 – Brentford were prepared to make Arsenal-linked Mykahylo Mudryk their record signing, reportedly bidding £30m for the winger, but the Athletic say he is going nowhere today.

13:00 – DONE DEAL! Leicester have signed defender Wout Faes from Reims after the sale of Wesley Fofana.

12:49 – Watford forwards João Pedro and Ismaïla Sarr have been linked with the likes of Newcastle, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Everton, but the Athletic say there is no chance of the Hornets letting either player leave today.

12:47 – So. The Telegraph say Jan Bednarek is getting closer to joining West Ham on loan from Southampton, which would allow Hammers defender Craig Dawson move to Wolves to happen. One (or two) to watch.

12:38 – That’s the sound of those dominos falling. The Athletic say Aston Villa have had a bid for Wolves midfielder Leander Dendoncker accepted.

12:29 – Ladies and gentlemen, we have the classic transfer deadline day domino effect. Widespread reports say Arsenal want Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz, Aston Villa want Wolves midfielder Leander Dendoncker, and Wolves want Metz midfielder Boubacar Traoré. Can all that get done in time?

12:18 – Another incoming for Leeds? With Daniel James being linked with a move away, the Daily Mail say the Yorkshire outfit are trying to sign Bamba Dieng from Marseille. He scored a goal every 139 minutes in Ligue 1 last season.

12:15 – It sounds unlikely to happen but the Evening Standard report West Ham have made a loan approach to sign Matt Doherty from Tottenham. Also from Spurs: Matteo Moretto now claims Bryan Gil to Valencia will not happen.

12:02 – Chelsea have cancelled negotiations for Milan’s Rafael Leão, report the Times, though they could go back in January. Meanwhile, the Athletic say talks are being opened to extend the contracts of Mason Mount and Reece James.

11:49 –  We love a homecoming. HLN in Belgium have images of Jan Vertonghen arriving in the country. He’s set to sign for Anderlecht from Benfica.

11:40 – Arsenal’s interest in Douglas Luiz is definitely real, with the Athletic reporting it too now. They say the player wants the move but Aston Villa are adamant he won’t be sold even with just nine months to run on his contract.

11:30 – The Evening Standard say a deadline day move for Daniel James is likely but it’s now unlikely he joins Tottenham.

10:56 – talkSPORT, the Independent, and The Sun now all say Douglas Luiz is an option for Arsenal. The Brazilian scored against the Gunners last night has just one year left on his Aston Villa contract.

10:47 – The Telegraph report that Aston Villa are leading West Ham in the race for Wolves’ Leander Dendoncker. A move could be worth around £12m. The links with the midfielder, who can also come at the back, come after David Moyes confirmed West Ham have received offers for defender Craig Dawson.

10:22 – Maybe it’s a west London thing? The Telegraph say Fulham are hoping to sign four players on deadline day! Willian, Layvin Kurzawa, Justin Kluivert and Bamba Dieng could all complete moves.

10:19 – Does anybody love deadline day like Chelsea? David Ornstein reports that Dujon Sterling is having a medical ahead of a loan move to Stoke. And L’Équipe say Tiémoué Bakayoko’s Chelsea contract will be cancelled so he can join OGC Nice.

9:52 – The Telegraph say there could be a deadline day exit from the Premier League, he is being linked with a move to Southampton.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is close to a move to Chelsea with Marcos Alonso heading the other way, the Athletic report.

Sergiño Dest arrived at Barcelona airport and is said to be on his way to Milan after Manchester United and Sevilla showed interest.

9:13 – There will be no move for Cody Gakpo on deadline day, say the Athletic. Leeds and Southampton were heavily linked in recent days but the winger, who scored a hat-trick last night, is staying put.
