Some players will most likely be rested with Ibrox in mind, but like Boxing Day against Motherwell we should expect a decent display and result.
We’ve been absolutely terrific this calendar year losing only two competitive matches and lifting three trophies, and we want to end 2024 in a high and head into the new year confident and raring to go as we bid to add yet more honours to our already impressive trophy haul.

And of course Brendan Rodgers will want to finish 2024 in some style and undefeated at Celtic Park in all competitions. In 2024 Celtic will have played 50 games in all competitions and lost just two, one as a result of shocking match official and VAR decision making, the other to last season’s Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund.
Of course the result is the main concern and getting three points is all that matters, but today is an opportunity to not only entertain the supporters, but send out a message as we head into 2025 and prepare for a vital trip to Ibrox.

We are undoubtedly the best side in the country as the table suggests, let’s prove that today and sign off the year in style. It’s what we all want and the team deserve, so let’s make plenty of noise for the Bhoys and celebrate these brilliant achievements with all three domestic trophies being won in 2024.
