Leeds United show interest in Stuttgart forward | OneFootball

The newly-promoted Premier League side are interested in the forward, just a year after he made a €21 million move to the club, as per BILD's VfB Stuttgart reporter Felix Arnold.

While no concrete offer has been made for the Bosnian, it is said that VfB would be open to talks starting at a sum of €25 million, as per BILD, with the reports suggesting that neither the club nor the player are pushing for a transfer as of now before the deadline.

The 27-year-old was tasked with the almost impossible job of replacing Serhou Guirassy last summer, following the Guinean's move to Borussia Dortmund.

And despite not matching the 28-goal striker's tally from the year prior, Demirovic provided a more than respectable tally of 17 goals in all competitions, with only Nick Woltemade registering more for Sebastian Hoeneß's side.

Demirovic has been touted for a move away all summer, however, for now he remains part of Hoeneß's squad as they aim to push back into the Champions League, and to progress into the latter stages of this years Europa League, which they secured a place in as a result of their DFB-Pokal triumph against Arminia Bielefeld in May.
