Huddersfield Town have brought in ex-Man United keeper Lee Grant as their new head coach on a three-year deal.

He’d been working as assistant coach at Ipswich Town, helping them climb from League One all the way up to the Premier League in back-to-back seasons.

Ipswich have now let him go, and he’s joining Huddersfield straight away after the Prem season wrapped up.

The 42-year-old steps in after Huddersfield ended their League One campaign in 10th place, having lost their last six games under caretaker boss Jon Worthington.

The manager’s job has been up for grabs since Michael Duff got the sack in March, with academy chief Worthington holding the fort until the end of the season.
