Arsenal attacker Leandro Trossard is not guaranteed to remain at the club by the end of the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports.
The Belgian international is currently under contract until 2026, with Arsenal holding an option to extend it for an additional year.
Despite his versatility and contributions as an impact substitute during his time with the club, recent developments have raised doubts about his long-term future.
Negotiations over a contract extension have reportedly stalled in recent weeks due to the player’s demands.
The club had previously been in advanced discussions to secure a new long-term deal, but no agreement has been reached.
Trossard also recently switched representation, leaving long-time agent Josy Comhair to join DH Sports & Entertainment.
This move has fueled speculation about a possible transfer, as such changes often precede significant career decisions for players.
Arsenal are open to letting Trossard go for a fee of around €20 million. The Belgian has previously attracted interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
The club’s pursuit of new forwards – including Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, Chelsea’s Noni Madueke and Real Madrid’s Rodrygo – suggests they want to refresh their attacking options.
Trossard is entering the final year of his contract, and Arsenal may view this summer as the optimal time to cash in if no extension is agreed.
