Against all expectations, Lazio failed to find the back of the net against Ludogorets, as their flawless Europa League run reached a sudden halt with the two sides sharing the spoils at the Stadio Olimpico.
While Christos Mandas and his teammates at the back had a quiet evening, the attackers failed to impress upfront, particularly Loum Tchaouna and Tijjani Noslin. The French youngster started on the right wing while the Dutchman led the line.
The two summer signings failed to make the most out of this opportunity, as they received the lowest marks on the player ratings handed by some of the most renowned Italian newspapers (via La Lazio Siamo Noi). This included below-average grades on several accounts (4.5/10). Tchaouna made way for Gustav Isaksen after the interval, while Noslin remained on the pitch for the duration of the match.
On the other hand, Matteo Guendouzi earned the highest grades on a couple of accounts (7/10). The Frenchman was incredibly active throughout the encounter, making sure Lazio dominated the middle of the park. He was also the author of the team’s best goalscoring opportunity on the night, as his long-range effort crashed against the post.
