Lazio are have reportedly put Luis Alberto and Matteo Guendouzi on the transfer list. The two midfielders have been on a collision course with Igor Tudor in recent weeks.

As Corriere dello Sport puts it, the Croatian manager inherited a nest of spiders upon replacing Maurizio Sarri in March, while he played a part in stirring additional unpleasant events. As for Luis Alberto and Guendouzi, the source describes their situations at Formello as “incurable”. Therefore, a Summer exit will be the solitary solution in both cases.

As the Roman newspaper explains, Luis Alberto has been inconsistent in training. At times, he shows determination and hunger, while looking uninterested on other occasions. The 31-year-old has already revealed his desire to leave publicly following Lazio’s win over Salernitana last month. He even urged the club to release him from his contract which runs until 2027.

But while Lazio President Claudio Lotito is highly unlikely to rescind his contract, he’s willing to sell the wantaway Spaniard for €15 million. The club must also take into account the 20% sell-on fee owed to Liverpool.

As for Guendouzi, he surely didn’t expect to find Tudor again when he left Marseille to join Lazio last Summer. The two had their issues in France but appeared to have reconciled upon their reunion in the Italian capital. However, peace didn’t reign for too long, as the problems between the Croatian and Frenchman resurfaced on the scene.

Therefore, the Biancocelesti are willing to sell the 25-year-old in the summer, as it could help Tudor assume more control over the dressing room. Nevertheless, the departure of the former Arsenal man requires an offer worth €30 million.
