Lazio coach Marco Baroni is set to stick with his usual formation in Monday’s crunch Serie A clash with Inter Milan.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia. They report that Tijani Noslin and Boulaye Dia will lead the line for the Biancocelesti.
Inter take on Lazio in Serie A on Monday evening.
The Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri go into the match level on points in the table. Inter do, however, have a game in hand.
There is a real sense that Monday’s match could have real Serie A title implications.
And not just for Inter and Lazio. The likes of Atalanta, Napoli, Fiorentina, and even Juventus and AC Milan will certainly be paying close attention.
There have been some rumours that Lazio coach could decide to switch up the formation.
Reports indicated that the former Hellas Verona and Lecce coach has toyed with a switch to a midfield trio.
Largely, Lazio have played with just two central midfielders this season.
However, Baroni has given some thought to adding a third midfield to beef up the numbers. The midfield battle with Inter will certainly be a hugely challenging one for Lazio.
But according to Sky, Baroni will not do so.
The Lazio coach will stick with Nicolo Barella and Matteo Guendouzi in midfield.
On the flanks, Mattia Zaccagni and Gustav Isaksen will start. Meanhwile, Tijani Noslin will lead the line in place of the suspended Taty Castellanos. Boulaye Dia will play just behind him.
Meanwhile, Sky report that the starting back four for the Biancocelesti will consist of Adam Marusic, Mario Gila, Patric, and Nuno Tavares.
