Many perceived this story as a big hint of what was to come, especially after the Athletic Club winger’s agent held a meeting with Barça director Deco.

Although Barcelona are expected to face hiccups in the deal, Yamal, for his part, remains as resilient as ever in his efforts to convince Nico to move to Camp Nou.

Yamal determined to play with Nico at Barça

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Lamine Yamal is doing more than just hinting on social media.

Behind the scenes, the teenage prodigy has consistently urged Nico Williams to make the switch to Barcelona.

As per Romano, if there is one player Yamal would like Barcelona to sign, it is Nico Williams.

The two youngsters, who lit up Euro 2024 with their pace and chemistry, have grown increasingly close over the past 12 months or so.
