As Barça prepare to kick off their La Liga campaign against Mallorca this Saturday, the Catalan club has been hit with an unexpected incident just hours before the match. Hansi Flick has injured his right hand during a training session.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the German coach slipped and, while trying to break his fall with his hand, sustained an injury that required the attention of club doctor Ricard Pruna. Flick is now wearing a splint to immobilize the back of his hand and his wrist. Fortunately, the injury is only superficial and does not prevent him from carrying out his duties on the pitch.
