Napoli manager Antonio Conte has today revealed that Paris Saint-Germain target Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (23) has ‘asked to leave’ Napoli, whilst Foot Mercato insider Santi Aouna reports that the club from the French capital are closing in on an agreement for the Georgian international. Aouna has revealed that a verbal agreement has almost been reached between PSG and Napoli for Kvaratskhelia with the two clubs intent on sealing a deal next week. Napoli boss Conte revealed today that Kvaratskhelia has “asked to leave the club”, recounting that he spoke to the player and he “confirmed his plan to leave the club immediately”.Meanwhile it has been reported that the Georgian will sign a four-and-a-half year deal with the Rouge et Bleu club, and that Napoli are not interested in a move that involves a swap for PSG centre-back Milan Skriniar. RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins reported yesterday that Kvaratskhelia was keen on joining the Ligue 1 champions and that PSG had reportedly sent an undisclosed bid to their Serie A counterparts. It was previously reported that Kvaratskhelia would be allowed to leave Napoli in exchange for a transfer fee of around the €80m mark.
