Juventus Women won an entertaining friendly against Everton. The Bianconere cameback from 2-0 down to win against Everton at Goodison Park, with goals from Krumbiegel, Carbonell, and Beccari.

A tough first half

It was far from the perfect start for the Italian champions. After just two minutes, Momiki tested Cappelletti. Juve responded in the fourth minute with a cross from Krumbiegel, but Bonansea couldn't quite get on the end of it.

Everton took the lead in the 26th minute, again with Momiki, who beat the Bianconeri goalkeeper from distance and doubled their lead six minutes later with a header from Vignola.

However, despite a difficult first half, Juve were still in the game and made that evident at the end of the half: Two minutes from the break, Brighton came close to scoring directly from a corner, with the ball saved on the line, and two minutes later, the goal arrived, courtesy of Krumbiegel, who finished off a move excellently orchestrated by Vangsgaard and Bonansea.

Juve comeback

The Bianconere's great comeback started in the second half. In the 47th minute, Godo and Girelli sparked a counterattack that ended with Beccari's shot being blocked. However, the equalizer came shortly after. In the 50th minute, Beccari set up Libran, whose assist was put away by Carbonell.

Juve dominated the second half. Just shy of the hour, Carbonell came close to scoring her second goal, but Everton’s keeper made a smart save. It was evenly balanced and the hosts came close to scoring in the 70th minute with Fernandez hitting the crossbar. It was the Bianconere who took the lead shortly after the 75th minute Beccari coolly took it round the Everton goalkeeper one-on-one and tapped into an empty net.

It was the deciding moment. A superb Juve side secured a prestigious win ahead of the start of the official season in Europe
