Juventus kick off their return to the Champions League by hosting Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday evening.

Thiago Motta's reign as Juventus coach got off to a bright start with successive 3-0 Serie A victories, but back-to-back goalless draws since show that there's still plenty of work to be done in Turin.

The Old Lady haven't won a European trophy since the turn of the century and may harbour slim hopes of upsetting the odds in this year's competition.

Juventus have a relatively clean bill of health for their clash with PSV midweek, although Francisco Conceicao is guaranteed to be absent with a muscle injury. Striker Arkadiusz Milik is also a doubt having missed the weekend draw with Empoli.

Motta is likely to field a similar lineup to the one that could only secure a point on Saturday, although some rotation may be required to keep the squad fresh for PSV's visit. Timothy Weah could replace Nicolas Gonzalez and Michele Di Gregorio could replace Mattia Perin in goal.

PSV did well to retain some of their brightest starts over the summer period, including Belgian attacker Johan Bakayoko. He was linked with a Premier League move but has already been instrumental with two goals for the Eindhoven outfit this season.
