Tuttosport reports that Juventus midfielder Teun Koopmeiners was forced to sleep on the couch for 20 days due to pain from a rib fracture.
The Netherlands midfielder missed the latest international break with his national team last month after suffering a rib fracture in a Serie A match against Cagliari.

He was ruled out of Juventus’ matches against Lazio, VfB Stuttgart, and Inter but returned to action against Parma last week.
According to Tuttosport newspaper, the injury was quite annoying for the former Atalanta midfielder, as he was forced to sleep on the couch for 20 days due to the pain.
The Turin-based paper notes that this affected the player’s rest, not to mention that Koopmeiners had to play with rib protection in recent appearances with his club.
The Dutch star started against Udinese on Saturday and is expected to get the nod as an attacking midfielder in a Champions League game against Lille this evening.
