L’Equipe claim that Juventus have set the price tag for Timothy Weah at €15m after opening negotiations with Olympique Marseille.
The USMNT star had been effectively sold to Nottingham Forest in a double deal with Samuel Mbangula, but when both players turned down the move, those talks were abandoned.
Weah and his representative were openly furious about the fact they were not informed until late in the day about this discussion, so insisted on being more involved in any future transfer negotiations.

He does seem to be more enthusiastic about the prospect of joining Olympique Marseille this summer and L’Equipe suggest formal talks have now started between the two clubs.
During this meeting, Marseille were informed that the price tag is €15m, roughly the same that Nottingham Forest had agreed to pay.
It would be a return to Ligue 1, where Weah won the title at LOSC in 2021, while he also played for Paris Saint-Germain and Celtic in his career.
L’Equipe also confirms that as part of these talks, Juventus have enquired after Marseille defender Leonardo Balerdi.
It is hoped that there could be a form of swap to keep both clubs happy.
