Oumar Solet isn’t the only Udinese defender being closely monitored by top sides, as Milan, Juventus, and a couple of Premier League outfits are keeping an eye on Thomas Kristensen. He’s putting together another strong campaign after overcoming early injury problems, Tuttomercatoweb reports.

The Friulani value him as much as Nehuen Perez, who joined Porto on loan with a conditioned obligation to buy in a €18M package. The two Serie A outfits inquired in January already but had to postpone the talks to the summer. The Old Lady did add two center-backs in the past window, Renato Veiga and Lloyd Kelly.

In addition to Juventus and Milan, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth are tracking Kristensen too. He has logged 1171 minutes so far, recently manning the right-back position in a 4-4-2 formation. Moreover, he has extensive experience in a three-man line.

The 23-year-old moved to Italy from Aarhus in 2023 for €5M. He has amassed 42 games with the Friulani so far. He has 11 caps with Denmark U-21, while he has yet to debut with the senior national team.

Our Take on Kristensen, Milan, and Juventus

Solet has shined more brightly and could be a real difference-maker in a short amount time, especially in a side that uses a three-man defense so he can push forward and create havoc. His teammate is solid, physical, and dependable but less flashy. He’d likely be a rotational piece in an elite outfit. The Rossoneri might downsize their defense without the Champions League, no longer needing four strong options, while the Old Lady seems to have different priorities.
