It just never gets easy with FC Barcelona and their constant changes in plans and operations. The Catalan club is many things, but predictable is a word that should probably never be associated with them. Even right now, interesting developments are taking place at Barcelona.
Originally, the club was supposed to travel to Japan and South Korea for their preseason tour. However, the club recently confirmed that the trip to Japan specifically had been cancelled due to certain issues regarding the involved payment.
The news came as a big blow, and reports even spoke about the consequences of the cancelled trip for the team. However, it now appears that yet another twist in the story awaits Barcelona and they are apparently going ahead with a new change of plans.

According to JijantesFC, Barcelona are indeed set to travel to Japan and the match against Vissel Kobe that was officially cancelled is now set to take place as originally planned. In fact, the club is wasting no time in terms of trying to get there as soon as possible.
The team, as per the report, is set to travel to Japan this afternoon and the match will end up going ahead as originally planned despite Barça’s official confirmation that it was cancelled. However, the update does note that events have unfolded rather quickly and abruptly.
Moreover, as per Adria Albets (via Reshad Rahman), it was Barça’s ex-shirt sponsor Rakuten that covered the cost of the trip. In fact, the company reportedly played a major role in settling things between Barcelona and the organiser of the tour, consequently enabling the match to take place.
Now, it might just be possible for new Barcelona signing Marcus Rashford to make his debut soon as well. Previous, the English forward reportedly received the green light to play against Vissel Kobe, and it looks like that opportunity might come by after all.
