Journalist shows what Allegri did to Leao in first Milan training session – video | OneFootball

Journalist Antonello Gioia from Milanello reports that new Rossoneri coach Massimiliano Allegri spoke to Rafael Leao ‘every time he could’ during his first training session on Monday, even giving the Portuguese winger tips on his posture.

Milan’s pre-season began on Monday, July 7, with the first training session held by Allegri at Milanello.

It was open to the media, and one of the reporters on the spot, Antonello Gioia of Milan News, showed what Allegri did to Leao in his first training session yesterday.

Gioia wrote on X that Allegri had approached Leao every time he could to offer him tactical tips, as well as suggestions on his posture and the way he conducted his drills.

Allegri had spoken about Leao at a press conference before Monday’s training session.

“I believe in him [Leao]. He’s reaching his peak years as players usually hit maturity between 26 and 30. I think he’s becoming more responsible,” Allegri said.

“I spoke to him this morning and I believe everything’s in place for a great season.

“He needs 360-degree vision. Leao has extraordinary qualities, so do Loftus, Ricci, Tomori, and Jimenez. I must put them in the best position to perform.”
