Rodrygo Goes’ future at Real Madrid continues to remain a topic of major speculation, with the Brazilian international no longer guaranteed to continue at the club.

The 24-year-old attacker has seen his prominence within the team take a hit, first under Carlo Ancelotti, and then with Xabi Alonso in charge.

As such, rumours of a departure have been constantly been doing the rounds, with clubs such as Arsenal, Tottenham, and Liverpool among those credited with an interest.

Jose Mourinho wants Rodrygo at Fenerbahce

Now, according to reports in Turkey, as relayed by AS, Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho has now requested the signing of Rodrygo from Real Madrid this summer.

The report claims that Fenerbahce are working to convince the player, who is also being followed by Al-Nassr, Arsenal, and Manchester City.

If they are successful in reaching a possible agreement with Rodrygo, the Turkish club intend to open negotiations with Real Madrid.

Mourinho’s objective is to bring the Madrid attacker in on a loan deal – an idea that Real Madrid are unlikely to entertain at all.

After all, Los Blancos value the 24-year-old forward at around €100 million, given his quality and the fact that he still has three years left on his contract with the club.

So, while there may be some tentative interest from Mourinho and Fenerbahce, as things stand, a transfer appears extremely unlikely to materialise.

A move to the Premier League might seem likelier, although so far there have been no offers made for Rodrygo while the player himself has not asked the club to sell him.
