Jody Morris has perhaps given one current Chelsea player the biggest compliment you can ever get as an attacking player.

Especially as an attacking player playing for Chelsea right now, because being compared to one of the greatest to ever play the game really is something.

Sources: Chelsea are still weighing up swap deals this summer with a couple looking likely!

Morris says that Cole Palmer is now in the same bracket at Eden Hazard as a player but he also admits that Palmer still has another level to step up to.

I think Morris has made some fair comments, which we can see in full further below.

Back to Morris’ praise for Palmer now…

“We saw what he did on the right-hand side in the Conference League final. He took it upon himself to go and right, ‘I’m going to make something happen.’

“There’s a few players that can do that. We were lucky enough to have probably the best to ever do that, Eden Hazard. Cole Palmer is in that same bracket.

“For me, he’s a superstar already, but I still think he’s got another level to go to, because I think you need to play in the Champions League for you to be considered the next level.”

Completely fair assessment of Palmer, who certainly already has that worldwide superstar feel about him but can now go to the next level.
