A few noteworthy Serie A players switched teams in the final hours of the January window. Nicolò Fagioli is headed to Fiorentina in a €19M package including add-ons. Milan indeed sealed the deal for bot Riccardo Sottil and Warren Bondo, Gianluca Di Marzio reports. Samuel Chukwueze is staying despite a late attempt by Fulham, while Ismael Bennacer is gone.

Roma nabbed Lucas Gourna-Douath in addition to Victor Nelsson. Bologna shipped Samuel Iling-Junior back to Aston Villa and replaced him with the touted Estanis Pedrola from Sampdoria.

The Serie A minnows got busy on deadline day too. Torino entered the Cristiano Biraghi race late and emerged victorious, as no big team targeted him. He had been exiled by Fiorentina after losing the starting job and departed on loan with an option to buy. They also signed Amine Salama from Stade Reims to replenish their attack after losing Duvan Zapata.

Como continued their spending spree with Anastasios Douvikas from Celta Vigo, Ivan Azon from Real Zaragoza, Mergim Vojvoda from Torino, and Ivan Smolcicf from HNK Rijeka. They also trimmed a lot of fat sending Andrea Belotti to Benfica and Emil Audero, Simone Verdi, Ben Koné, and Luca Mazzitelli to Serie B. Venezia signed both Daniel Fila from Slavia Prague and Mirko Maric from Monza to substitute for Joel Pohjanpalo. Instead, Andrei Radu came in from Inter to replace Filip Stankovic, who might have gotten seriously hurt in the last round.

Lecce onboarded Marco Sala from Como to finish the job after the sale of Patrick Dorgu. Parma snapped up Mateo Pellegrino from Velez Sarsfield.
