A few noteworthy Serie A players switched teams in the final hours of the January window. Nicolò Fagioli is headed to Fiorentina in a €19M package including add-ons. Venezia signed both Daniel Fila from Slavia Prague and Mirko Maric from Monza to substitute for Joel Pohjanpalo. Instead, Andrei Radu came in from Inter to replace Filip Stankovic, who might have gotten seriously hurt in the last round.

Lecce onboarded Marco Sala from Como to finish the job after the sale of Patrick Dorgu. Parma snapped up Mateo Pellegrino from Velez Sarsfield.
