Nashville SC has traded rightback Shaq Moore to FC Dallas $50,000 in GAM with potential for another $100,000 in GAM if certain incentives are hit. The U.S. international fullback has been with Nashville since the summer of 2022 where he has 83 career games played and 11 goal contributions. Last season, Moore played roughly 2,000 minutes for Nashville across all competitions.
Shaq Moore is a former FC Dallas academy product who now returns “home”. Moore tested the waters in Europe for a long time prior to his arrival in Nashville, mainly in Spain. Moore has 19 caps with the U.S. Men’s National Team, scoring 1 goal, and has won a Gold Cup in his career. He now joins Dallas who are aiming to have an improved backline under a new Manager in Eric Quill in 2025.
For Nashville, they are left without a proven rightback on the roster. BJ Callaghan in his 2nd transfer window as Manager must get to work quickly on building a roster that can aim to get back into the playoff picture next season.
