The Ruud van Nistelrooy era at the King Power Stadium is officially up and running after just two minutes, thanks to none other than Jamie Vardy.
In what was an anticipated managerial debut for the former Manchester United man, the one-time clinical striker could not have wished for a better start, and with some help from VAR.
After Vardy was first judged to have been offside by the on-pitch officiating crew, VAR reviewed the incident and awarded the goal to the Foxes legend.
And what a moment given the night's occasion as well, with Vardy the one who broke Van Nistelrooy's record of finding the back of the net in 11 consecutive Premier League matches, only to go and help his new boss to an early lead.
