Ahead of the important matchday against Ipswich Town, boss Ivan Juric has an exciting update. As per Juric, forwards Tyler Dibling and Kamaldeen Sulemana return in the fixture.
When was the last time you saw Saints fans this excited for a Premier League game recently? And why not it would be, as Southampton has a real chance for crucial points after some reasonably tough fixtures.
Yes, it's the Southampton Vs Ipswich Town matchday.
The last time these two sides met, the Saints had opened their points tally with a draw. But, this time, the expectations would be far more.
A win is a bare minimum for Southampton as well as for boss Ivan Juric, after six consecutive losses. Thankfully, the Saints receive a massive injury boost to aid a successful trip to Portman Road.
Recently, manager Juric updated that the injured stars, Tyler Dibling and Kamaldeen Sulemana have received the medical green light.
As per the Daily Echo, speaking about the attacking duo's availability against Ipswich, Juric said: "Kamaldeen and Dibling trained today (Thursday) with us, and they will be with us."
While even this had been sufficient to make the fans elated, Juric had some positive news on Aaron Ramsdale as well.
Being sidelined against Newcastle, there had been speculations of a prolonged recovery, but that isn't the case. Talking of Ramsdale, Juric mentioned: "Aaron Ramsdale did one part of the training today. Tomorrow, I think he will be OK."
With this inform trio returning, manager Juric would have a full-strength squad for the upcoming contest. Not only would it boost the side's quality, but they could be the lucky trinket the Saints need.
