Federico Dimarco and Matteo Darmian have won praise for their performances in yesterday’s draw between Parma and Inter Milan.
Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, argue that the Italian international duo were two of Inter’s better performers in the Serie A clash.
Inter Milan started with Federico Dimarco and Matteo Darmian as wingbacks against Parma yesterday.
The two Italian internationals got the nod, with Denzel Dumfries out with an injury.
And both more or less did what was required of them.

Federico Dimarco got yet another assist for Inter Milan.
The 27-year-old showed how devastating he can be when he gets forward around the penalty area.
Dimarco was the player who latched onto the ball in a dangerous area. He lofted a ball across the penalty area.
And it was at the feet of fellow wingback Matteo Darmian that Dimarco’s cross ended up.
Then, Darmian made no mistake with his finish, scoring Inter’s opener at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.
Meanwhile, Darmian then could have also had another first half goal, although he snatched at his finish.
On the other hand, however, Parma did expose a lack of pace from Darmian and Dimarco on a couple occasions in counterattacking situations.
