Yet, Biasin confirmed Inter had contacted Chelsea to gather information about Christopher Nkunku.

Despite his struggles at Stamford Bridge, the 27-year-old’s price tag remains high.

Indeed, Chelsea have reportedly discouraged Inter from pursuing the Frenchman by naming a €45 million price tag.

On the other hand, Marco Asensio’s name has resurfaced in recent days.

With Paris Saint-Germain putting the Spaniard on the market, Inter could reignite their interest.

However, Biasin played down Inter’s renewed pursuit of the 29-year-old despite his attainable price tag.

“The names associated with Inter for the attack in these hours are all interesting,” he stated. “But they are not among the club’s objectives.”

Meanwhile, Biasin reiterated Inter’s decision to cut ties with Mehdi Taremi.

After a dreadful first season in Serie A, Taremi will soon embark on a new challenge abroad.

Several foreign clubs have set their sights on the Iranian, with Inter asking for around €10m to let him go.
