Simone Inzaghi will celebrate 200 matches as Inter Milan coach in tomorrow’s Champions League round of sixteen second leg against Feyenoord.
This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInter1908. They also note that the 48-year-old is well clear at the top of the list of Inter coaches for win percentages.
Inter Milan take on Feyenoord in the Champions League.
The Nerazzurri host the Dutch giants at the San Siro in the second leg of a round of sixteen tie.
Inter have a 2-0 advantage after the first leg in Rotterdam last week. Therefore, they will feel that they have something to protect, or even one foot in the next round.
But at the same time, Inter will hardly be underestimating their task or taking anything for granted.
And for Inter coach Simone Inzaghi it will be a very significant match on a personal level.
Simone Inzaghi took over as Inter Milan coach in the summer of 2021.
Since then, the former Lazio boss has guided the Nerazzurri to six trophies, including the Serie A title last season. Inter also reached the Champions League final in 2023.

Over that period, Inter have played 199 matches between Serie A, the Coppa Italia, the Supercoppa Italiana, and the Champions League.
Therefore, tomorrow will be the 200th Inter match that Inzaghi coaches in all competitions.
And as Tuttosport, out of the first 199 that the 48-year-old has taken charge of, Inter have won 132.
That means that Inter have a win percentage of 66.33% across all competitions under Inzaghi.
That is the best win percentage of any coach who’s managed at least a hundred matches for Inter.
Coming in second is Inzaghi’s predecessor Antonio Conte. The current Napoli and former Juventus and Chelsea coach had a win percentage of 62.75% at Inter.
Meanwhile, Treble-winner Jose Mourinho managed to win 62.03% of his matches as Nerazzurri coach. That is good enough for the third spot on the podium.
