Players receiving the call-up during the international break is a good sign for Aston Villa. A good amount of players from the club will be with their respective country teams. These included some of the selected groups being part of the Under-21 sides. While this weekend takes away from the immediate excitement and demanded attention of the Premier League campaign, there are notable developments to look for from the Villa players.

First and foremost, skipper John McGinn will lead Scotland against Greece in the Nations League. After scoring a goal in the last game for his country, the captain will look to secure a pair of victories. Youri Tielemans also commands the midfield away from Villa. He and Belgium are slated against Ukraine. France will face Croatia, as AVFC supporters will see how Lucas Digne performs for Les Bleus.
