Serie A giants Inter want to sign another striker in the summer and are now preparing a move for Bologna’s Santiago Castro.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported today that there is a growing relationship between Castro and Lautaro Martinez and the Bologna talent has sought help from his compatriot about goalscoring and life in Italy. They have constantly exchanged text messages as well.
Now, Castro is a tempting target for Inter and the Nerazzurri are considering making an attempt after the club World Cup. The Argentine is the favourite target for the striker’s role, ahead of Udinese’s Lorenzo Lucca. The player would be very interested in a move and unite with Martinez.
As of now, Bologna want a fee of €40 million to sell Castro and Inter value the 20-year-old at €30 million. Having said that, Inter can offer players in the deal, with Giovanni Fabbian’s future hanging in the balance. Inter have a buyback option but they can renegotiate a deal to help Bologna in removing that clause.
