Inter Milan face another potential defensive injury, with Yann Bisseck having trained individually in today’s session.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that for now, there are no medical tests scheduled for the German.
Inter have been dealing with a real slate of defensive injuries in recent weeks.
Benjamin Pavard and Francesco Acerbi have been on the sidelines for over a month with thigh injuries. The former is ready to return to the squad to face Venezia this weekend, the latter not quite yet.
Meanwhile, Stefan de Vrij has suffered a couple of niggling muscle problems. He has largely been able to play through them, but will reportedly not start against Venezia.
Matteo Darmian also had a knee issue that kept him on the sidelines for a couple matches.
One player who’s been a real stalwart for Inter throughout all these injuries at the back has been Bisseck.
The 24-year-old has started on the right of the Nerazzurri back three in most of their matches over the last month and change.
And Bisseck has not suffered any fitness issues during that stretch.
But according to Sky, there is now a worry with Bisseck.
The German worked individually in training today, as he was not feeling at his best physically.
However, Sky reports, at the moment Bisseck is not set to undergo any tests with the club’s medical staff.
